- In 1993–1994, Prof. Dr. Levent Tabak worked with a TÜBİTAK Scholarship as a Research Assistant at Harvard University Massachusetts General Hospital.
- In international scientific journals, a total of 16 articles have been published; a total of 51 articles have been written for domestic journals.
- Won the Second Place Award among the Publications Abroad selected by the Thoracic Society.
- Served as Secretary of the Istanbul Branch of the Thoracic Society and Chair of the Clinical Problems Working Group.
- Served as Head of the Bronchoscopy Unit and Coordinator of the Interstitial Lung Diseases Outpatient Clinic at the Department of Pulmonology, Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.
