- Earned the specialty title in Clinical Neurophysiology in 2011.
- In 2011, was a visiting faculty member at the Cleveland Hospitals clinic.
- Served on the Board of the Turkish Epilepsy Society for 8 years and held the Presidency in 2014-2016.
- In 2015, arranged for the International Epilepsy Congress to be held in Istanbul and took part in its organization.
- Chaired the Epilepsy Application and Research Center - EPİMER affiliated with Istanbul University in 2016-2018.
- Since 2017, has been working as a member of the Commission on Intellectual Disability of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE).
- Has 124 publications in SCI-indexed journals and an h-index of 20.
