- In 2003–2004, was a visiting faculty member at the Utrecht University Faculty of Medicine Dermatoallergy Unit.
- Was elected to the Board of Directors of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
- Was invited to serve on the Board of Directors of the European Society of Dermato-Oncology.
- Served as Head of the Department of Dermatology at the Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 2004 and 2010 and established the Dermatoallergy Unit.
- Took on the roles of Chair of the Education Commission of the Ege University Faculty of Medicine and, between 2006 and 2008, Second President of the Turkish Society of Dermatology.
- Invited in 2011 as an international faculty member to the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, University of Rome.
- Founder and Board Member of the Dermato-Oncology Society and the Psoriasis Society.
- Member of the Dermatoallergy Working Group of the Turkish Society of Dermatology.
