- In 2009, was a clinical observer at the Pediatric Dermatology clinic at Duke University, USA.
- In 2010, with the Turkish Society of Dermatology Prof. Dr. Türkan Saylan Scholarship, was a clinical observer at the Psoriasis and Autoimmune Bullous Diseases clinics at the University of Bern, Switzerland.
- Attained the title of Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2018.
- Served as a member of the Proficiency Executive Board of the Turkish Society of Dermatology between 2012 and 2014.
- Serves as editor of the Mucosa journal, which began publication in 2018.
- Served as Deputy Director of the Clinical Research Center of the Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 2018 and 2020.
- Has served as Chair of the Oral Mucosa Working Group of the Turkish Society of Dermatology since 2019.
- Served as Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 2020 and 2021.
