- In 2004, with a TÜBİTAK scholarship, was a researcher at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary Clinic in the USA.
- Attained the title of Associate Professor in 2000 and Professor in 2006 at the Hacettepe University Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
- Member of the Turkish Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, the Otology and Neurotology Society, the Istanbul ENT Specialists Association and the Otolaryngologic Allergy Society.
