Active member of the Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) and the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD).
Member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Children with Diabetes.
By winning the “ISPAD Allan-Drash Clinical Fellowship Award”, earned the right to work as a fellow at the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Stanford University in 2020.
In 2017, with an ESPE clinical fellowship grant, worked on new technologies in the treatment of type 1 diabetes at the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, University of Ljubljana.
Attained the title of Associate Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology in 2016.
Has been actively involved in the “Arkadaşım” (“My Friend”) Diabetes Camps since 2009.
