In 2007, was a researcher at the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center of Duke University.
Became Associate Professor of internal medicine in 2010 and received the title of Professor in 2015.
Between 2010 and 2016, served as Head of the Division of Hematology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University.
Served as Head of the Blood Center at Eskişehir Osmangazi University between 2010 and 2016.
Serves as Chair of the Lymphoma Subcommittee of the Turkish Society of Hematology.

Main clinical areas of interest:
- Bleeding and thrombotic disorders,
- Platelet aggregation and thromboelastography applications,
- Aspirin resistance,
- Transfusion,
- Lymphoma.
