At the Turkish Society of Thoracic Radiology, served as secretary general, vice chair and chair of the board.
Served as deputy chief physician at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine İbni Sina Hospital (2008–2011).
Received the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2009.
In 2014–2016, served as Chair of the Board of the Ankara Medical Chamber.
Was elected a member of the Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association for the 2018–2020 term.

Main clinical areas of interest:
- Thoracic radiology,
- Coronary artery CT angiography.
