In 1998, after succeeding in the first series of centralized chief-of-clinic examinations held under the coordination of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), was appointed to the position of Assistant Chief of Clinic of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
Undertook administrative and scientific duties at the Clinic of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology.
In 2001, began working as Head of Department at the American Hospital.
Became Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2013.
As Chair of the Infection Control Committee at VKV American Hospital and VKV Italian Hospital, led the infection prevention and control process during JCI Accreditation.
Completed a master's degree in Health Law at Istanbul Medipol University in 2016.
