In 2001-2002, completed a clinical subspecialty fellowship in interventional radiology in the USA at Indiana University-Purdue University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology.
Received the title of Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2012 at the Department of Radiology of Hacettepe University.
In 2012, elected a Fellow member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe-CIRSE (European Society of Interventional Radiology).
Since 2014, serving as Section Editor for Interventional Radiology of the journal Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
Member of the Turkish Society of Radiology, the Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology, the European Society of Radiology and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.
